Yes, just like pretty much all of Wampler's pedals that I've tried, it's THAT good !
Absolutely sonically satisfying throughout it's ENTIRE gain range. Throw anything through and from this machine, and it will make everything sound great !
I put it through to my Danelectro Honeytone HT-30, also for sale here on ebay. It takes the amp's small speaker and its rough edges and smooths it out in a super ear pleasing way, but yet still retains the raunchiness that is inherent in that little tweed style amp !
You don't need some super expensive guitar, either. Our baby blue Mitchell MD200 Super Strat style guitar will do the trick and just SING through this wonderful little box!
And of course, as you would expect from a good dirt pedal, the Tumnus deluxe responds well to changes in your playing dynamics.  A great tool and weapon for a "feel" and "touch" player ! It also cleans up very nicely when you turn your volume knob down, even at higher drive settings !
Plus, it's got some cool extra features in addition to the bass, mids, treble, level and gain controls. It's got a button to engage a built in line buffer. It's also got a two mode switch that lets you go from normal to "hot" operation!
So spend ,000k grand on the original KL__ C_ntaur ? Or save your money with a less than 0 purchase and have a bunch left over for …. another nice electric? A well matched tube amplifier ? A no brainer, IMHO ! So what are you waiting for?
