The boost function is available when the pedal is on and gives extra volume for solos.
The pedal is designed to allow a great dynamic range and classic tube sound.
The distortion is second to none and could be the only overdrive pedal you'll need.
Uses standard 9v. center negative adaptor.  No internal battery connection.
