The Heavens Are Not Too High by Alexander Space Exploration Commemorative Plate
This plate was produced to commemorate the early years of space exploration. It is made from enamel on copper that depicts a white spiral nebula with a red line trajectory of a rocket or space craft.
Size: Approx. 7-7/8” in diameter
On the back, reads, "THE HEAVENS ARE NOT TOO HIGH..." DESIGNED BY ALEXANDER FOR CONVAIR A DIVISION OF GENERAL DYNAMICS CORPORATION.
It was made as a tribute to the Atlas rocket in the 1950's.
Condition: Some wear of surface rubbing and fine scratches.  They are not very obvious mainly notable on close inspection and when held at an angle to a light source. Example photographs have been shown, but due to the dark color and reflective nature of the enamel, it was hard to show them all.  Please review the photographs and message me if you have any questions or want additional photographs.
