This listing is for a Very Good condition, pre-owned Vintage SYRACUSE CHINA Milwaukee Road CM&StP Railroad Dining Car "PEACOCK" Pattern Cup & Saucer Set.
Produced by SYRACUSE CHINA in Syracuse, NY.  Circa (est. 1945 +/-) & January 1965 (date codes UNM & 94-A).
"PEACOCK" Pattern was produced for exclusive use in CM&StP Dining Car service.  Pieces were never backstamped by CM&StP.
Cup is of the "Dolphin" style with plain unscalloped style rim.  Saucer features scalloped "Econo-Rim" style rim.
Pieces exhibit only minor signs of handling, use, or wear, consistent with age and normal dining car service use.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit minor flea bites, transfer, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.  Kiln riser marks noted on saucer.
Pieces are marked with appropriate SYRACUSE CHINA hallmarks and date code 94-A on bottoms as shown in photos.  Cup hallmark dates to around mid-1940's (+/-).
Cup measures 1 3/4" diameter at base x 3" diameter at rim edge x 3" high.  Measures 4 1/4" across rim edge and handle.
Saucer measures 2 3/4" diameter at base x 5 1/4" diameter at rim edge x 3/4" high.
