ULTRA RARE!!!  ~ Set of 4 Vintage SUNDAE ICE CREAM DISHES ~
Made from clear glass.  Would make a great addition to your retro kitchen or soda fountain display!
These are VERY HEAVY and VERY THICK ~ possibly they were used in a dining car on a RAILROAD?  Or maybe at a soda fountain counter?  I could not find any maker's mark.
I've included a photo showing one of these dishes next to a conventional sundae dish, for comparison purposes.  See photo #9.  The conventional one weighs 18.6 ounces, and the one from this auction weighs a WHOPPING 27.8 ounces!!  Almost 2 pounds of glass, just for one!!  (The "comparison" dish is NOT included.)
Each dish measures approximately 5 3/4 inches tall; 4 7/8 inches in diameter at the widest part of the top; and 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base.
Each dish is in MINT condition, with no apparent flaws.
These seem to NEVER come up for auction, particularly in a matched set of 4!
They are from my personal collection.  I bought them for a soda fountain display I was building in our house, but we have now moved and I am selling my soda fountain items.
They have been stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, all-adult-collector home for many years.
