Produced by SHENANGO CHINA in New Castle, PA.  Circa June 1927 (date code 6-27).
Piece exhibits minor signs of handling, use, or wear, consistent with age and normal dining car service use.
Gold rim edge trim exhibits minor signs of rubbing or wear.  B&O Capitol logo moderately worn.  Minor utensil marks noted.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit minor flea bites, transfer, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.  Kiln riser marks noted.
Piece is marked with SHENANGO CHINA hallmark and date code 6-27 on bottom as shown in photos.
Measures 6 1/2" x 10" oval at base x 9 3/4" x 13 3/8" oval at rim edge x 1 1/4" high.
