Description
Original Santa Fe Syracuse Mimbreño 4 1/2” small bowl. Mimbreño dinnerware was inspired by the thousand-year-old pottery art of the ancient Mimbres Indians of Southwestern New Mexico culture. The iconic Mimbreño dinnerware pattern designs were adapted by Mary Elizabeth Jane Colter, one of this country’s earliest woman architects and was originally served in the Super Chief dining cars on the Santa Fe railroad beginning in 1937. The antelope design is pure delight. This neat piece is 4 1/2” in diameter with a height of 1 3/8.” It shows almost no signs of use and is stamped with the Syracuse China emblem followed by “Made Expressly For Santa Fe Dining Car Service.” This is a great addition for any western china collection. If it doesn't meet your expectations, return for a full refund, less shipping.
