Not just a simple volume boost....it's got so many other uses!
I put it in front of my Gibson GA-77 RET Vanguard tube amp (also for sale here in our eBay store), and this pedal pushes it into such sweet, crunchy and clear overdrive territory ! But it is so responsive that you can turn down your guitar volume and/or lighten your touch on the strings and your signal cleans up terrifically.  Just as you would expect from a great or even good tube amp !
It also pairs well with Supro's new Fuzz pedal ! (Also for sale here in our ebay store !) The Supro Boost has a 3 way toggle switch that lets you switch from dark to flat to bright modes! I love the bright mode for doing just that...it takes a fuzz, which can tend to be a little bass-y and dark and puts back in treble frequencies so that your guitar cuts through better.  Especially better in any kind of mix !
This pedal even offers a TRS port for expression pedal control of the volume knob!
This effectively turns the Supro Boost pedal into a high-fidelity, active volume pedal with user-adjustable minimum and maximum settings !
