LUCY TROJAN ATLAS V SPACE MISSION PATCH LAUNCED IN OCT 2021 PVC 3-D TOWARDS JUPITER ON ATLAS V 4" IN SIZE LAUNCHED FROM THE CAPE AT SPACE LAUNCH COMPLEX 41 ON AN ATLAS 5 401 ROCKET FOR A 12-YEAR MISSION Lucy is a planned NASA space probe that will complete a 12-year journey to seven different asteroids, visiting a main belt asteroid as well as six Jupiter trojans, asteroids which share Jupiter's orbit around the Sun, orbiting either ahead of or behind the planet. All target encounters will be fly-by encounters. The mission takes its name from the fossilized human ancestor (called “Lucy” by her discoverers) whose skeleton provided unique insight into humanity's evolution. Likewise, the Lucy mission will revolutionize our knowledge of planetary origins and the formation of the solar system. The skeleton was named Lucy because the team while digging up the bones, were listening to the Beatles song - "Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds".LUCY TROJAN ATLAS V SPACE MISSION PATCH LAUNCING IN OCT 2021 PVC 3-D FACE
