    Description

    Harder-to-find Buffalo China-made version of the vintage Pennsylvania 9 7/8-inch dinner plate in the Purple Laurel pattern.  Keystone backmark.
    The pattern design was patented.  According to railroad china authority Douglas W. McIntyre, Buffalo never used a formalized date coding system and none exists on this plate.
    Excellent pre-owned condition.  No chips, cracks or hairlines.  Clear pattern transfer.  Light use marks in the well of the plate.
