    Description

    Baltimore and Ohio Railroad used this pattern, called Capitol, on their dining cars. The pattern features the circular logo on the side with a black and gold band around the bottom. The gold is in good condition but there is a wicked crack on the side. Luckily it's placed so when the cover is displayed, the hairline doesn't show.
    Shenango China manufactured this hot food or toast cover and The Stearnes Company of Chicago was the distributor. The cover measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter. It is a heavy piece.
