    Description

    Rare in this condition - excellent Baltimore & Ohio B & O 1827-1927 Centennial China!
    Excellent and UNUSED Baltimore & Ohio B & O Centennial DEMITASSE Cup and Saucer, beautifully made in 1927 by the LAMBERTON Works of Trenton New Jersey USA.
    The cup features three vignettes of B&O History:
    The first stone for the B&O, laid July 4, 1828
    The horse drawn car, from 1830
    The first LOCOMOTIVE, the Philip E. Thomas, from 1838
    Marked "1827-1927 Baltimore And Ohio Railroad Scammell's Lamberton Design Patented"
    The cup is 2 1/4" in diameter and 1 13/8" high.
    The saucer features a scene of the Thomas Viaduct from 1835.  It is marked
    "1827-1927 Baltimore And Ohio Railroad Scammell's Lamberton Design Patented"
    The saucer is 4 1/4" in diameter.
    These appear to have NEVER BEEN USED, but there are some tiny marks from storage.  No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs - excellent for display or use.
