Selling this fairly rare and sought after 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT, she has original paint (Jamaican Yellow), runs and drives smooth & beautifully down the road!
NOT A SHOW CAR, THIS IS A NICE DRIVER.. you could take it to a show, but you probably won’t win.
What it needs.. well, nothing to be a driver. It’s ready to go now.
Needs window felts, front seat covers and I’d replace the carpet. Everything is original inside this old girl!

About the car…
-The car is from NC and the body is all original metal with only small quarter size rust at the lower front fenders (see pictures) no rust in the trunk or frame areas.. very very clean & solid!!
-Still has the original fiberboard trunk drop covers installed!
-Cyclone body has various scratches, dings and dents but the chrome is gorgeous all around.
-Original glass and Chrome
-Interior is original and it shows.. needs front seats reupholstered, they have rips. Rear seat is flawless, console is great, dash is good.. original radio etc..
-Lights work, gauges work, horn works, wipers work.
-New long tube headers and Magnaflow exhaust
-New 14” Mag 500’s with BFG tires (have original steel wheels with caps and red line spare tire)
-Upgraded front disc brakes and dual master cylinder (have all original parts)
- Rebuilt 1967 390CI with 1967 aluminum PI intake, new edelbrok carburetor.
-The Original C6ME 1966 390 short block with correct Date casting included with the sale.
-Rebuilt original C6 automatic transmission with new OE converter, added a shift kit and she shifts tight!
-Original 9” rearend has been rebuilt also. Factory 3.25 Track Lock gears and all bearings.
