1941 SMALL and LARGE "S" mintmarks
1941 was a transitional year, and while most of the 92,360,000  "S" mintmark cents bearing that date have the smaller mintmark, a minority ( perhaps 5-10% ) are found with the new, larger mintmark. This is much larger and has sharp serifs. The 1940 S mintmark is the same as the 1941 small S mintmark.  The 1942 S mintmark is the same as the Large S mintmark.   This variety is listed in the Red Book.  You are getting two nice examples of the mint mark varieties of this transitional year. You get the pair of them, 1 LARGE & 1 SMALL.
