    1892 Rio Grande Western Railway Railroad China Creamer Dining Car *rare* Union Porcelain Works
    Extremely rare RGWRR diner china creamer with Union Porcelain works marks indicating a manufacturing date in 1892. The logo is the same as in the period poster shown in the photos (not included lol).
    There is some wear at the base, as would be expected, but the logo is nice and bright. There is an added name that is that of a dining establishment patron along the route according to one of you knowledgeable experts. The eagle and snake handle is a UPW pattern that appears to be based upon their logo, and dates back to the 1870s.
    Interesting piece! I know all you collectors know that the two items I have up are beyond scarce. You may have seen I have a RGWRR dish of the same period in another auction.
