    Description

An extraordinary beautiful coin.  The strike doubling affects only the outer edge of the reverse.
As Americas first commerative coin and produced for a special event under order by the US Congress, the quality control on these coins was unusual for the time. Though many were produced there are only 4 recognized varieties between both dates.  The biggest varience in these coins seems to have been strength of strike.  Even the strike doubling of this example is uncommon.
    A
    great
way to increase the uniqueness of your collection!
